Job Loss Forces Family To
Leave Dog
"BELLE"
American Eskimo, Pomeranian,
Poodle Mix
Belle’s family has to move to New York on
Saturday without her.
Belle is a beautiful golden American Eskimo-Pomeranian-Poodle mix,
which normally wouldn’t be difficult to place, but 9-year-old Belle
needs a special home environment on short notice.
“She likes to run and play in the yard and knows her house manners
and training
commands,” said DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, founder of the Community Animal
Network
Belle is shy of strangers and will hide when company comes, but in
public on a leash her fear turns aggressive with close, sudden
movements like a jogger running by, says the family spokesperson.
Belle needs a new family who
enjoys activities at home rather than out and about at the bark
park.
Her favorite thing is to lounge on her back and be petted for hours.
