Cowboys'
Young Owner Ordered Him Put To Sleep!

Veterinary hospital workers love animals. That's why they
work there!
The staffs' hearts break when they have to call animal
control when cats
are found in boxes and dogs are tethered to the front
door. But, it's even more tragic for the workers
when the dogs and cats that they have come to know
are ordered to be "put to sleep" by their legal
owners. This just happened to Cowboy!
The two year old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix named Cowboy is
still alive, but may not be for long without your
help! Cowboy has no where to go after Monday
(5-16-11).

Several
hospital workers have known Cowboy since he was a
puppy. One veterinary worker already saved Cowboy
once by having the owner sign him over to her
thinking she could find a rescue to take him. But,
the rescues say that they are full and the
well-meaning rescuer that has been paying his
boarding is having surgery herself on Tuesday
morning and is unable to continue to pay for the
boarding.
This is urgent! Please email this to all of your
contacts!
You may wonder why his owner would order him put to
death? The young owner was moving back home
with her family and her parents said the 90lb
Rhodesian Ridgeback was not welcome!
